  • I don't know if anyone will know the answer to this but I thought I'd ask anyways. Do you think that merchandise will be sold at this show? I'm sure the other shows on the tour will be selling the usual merchandise (t-shirts, posters, pillowcases, etc.) but I was wondering if this show will or not b/c it's a club show or if that makes a difference or not. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

  • I'm a huge fan, and I have 2 extra tickets to the zephyr show. I'm thinking of having some sort of contest to give them away, as I'd not want to sell them on ebay or some such.

    Any one have any feedback for me on if this is a good idea?

    Or how to go about having the contest?

  • Okay - Here's the deal. I've chosen to "trade" one of my two extra tickets to the Zephyr show, leaving me 1 (one) remaining spare ticket for the zephyr show.

    Therefore, I am launching a contest. You should post a picture, and write a short to moderate essay on:

    "What Morrissey Means to Me".

    Post it here, and I'll award the ticket to the winner of the best essay on Wednesday, July 24th.

    Also, I'm driving from SFO to the whole first leg of the tour. If anyone wants/needs a ride, let me know.

    I reserve the right to cancel this contest at any time, especially if I get no or really fake/lame essay responses.

  • Well, I'm sad to report it, and I tried to hold out as long as I could (which explains such late notice) but umm *sigh* it looks like I'll have to give up my ticket to the Salt Lake City Private show. This should be a very memorable show, if not the best on the tour. I've been to the Zephyr club and its VERY small, so trust me, it'll be great. The ticket is at face value($52), I'm making NO money off it, just trying to get my money back. It's only 1 ticket. Believe me, it pains me to give it up, but as it turns out I'm STUCK in L.A. I'm gonna try for the Santa Barbarba show, but the way things are going, I'll probably miss the tour entirely, in which case, I'm doomed. Anyway, if you want the ticket, let me know, its yours. First come first serve, just reply. If there's more than one of you that reply, then I'll give it to the first person who comes up with the money. This is real. The only reason I'm posting as "Anonymous" is because I'm embarrassed that I'm letting responsability get in the way of Morrissey. What a sad person I've become, anyway, again, just let me know and the ticket is yours.

  • I need 2 tickets to the Zephyr show. I'll pay face value and give a 1.5 hour scenic flight of Arches and Canyonlands National Park near Moab in return (good for two people). Obviously, this is most useful for those who live in Utah or Colorado. Flight must be taken between September-December 2002, with advance notice.
