Tribute Band in Dublin tonight (Score:1)
These Charming Men, an Irish Smiths tribute band, play the Button Factory (previously the Temple Bar Music Centre) later today. A while back a friend told me that in casual conversation it emerged that the parents of some people he knew used to work in the city's button factory in the '50s where their colleagues included Morrissey's parents! I wonder if this was the original location.

    are all dreadful. It's the lowest of the low, not having enough talent to write and play your own music. A terrible idea, are there are millions of them, and why people think it's ok is beyond me. Bad bad idea.
