Record Collector: Jim Reid (The Jesus And Mary Chain) on The Smiths debut album

Can't really talk about great Scottish bands and not include Teenage Fanclub. Lloyd Cole was in fact English although the Commotions are Scottish. I'd also include BMX Bandits and The Vaselines in any list and possibly Strawberry Switchblade.

Personally I'd have the JAMC in the Top 3 Scottish bands of all time which is high praise. I don't dislike people for not liking the same bands as me. I honestly don't care.

The Guardian: Neil Morrissey on Morrissey - "Poor bloke" (March 14, 2024)

God The Guardian is a 1 trick pony with no tricks left. I don't think Bob The Builder has had any Number 1 albums.

Irish Examiner: Culture That Made Me, with Broadcaster Tony O' Donoghue (March 4 2024)

Good to see he got his little disclaimer in at the end there.

Morrissey Central "ANOTHER WORLD." (March 5, 2024)

What a beautiful looking band. Top 3 Moz single of all time for me.

    Next UK Moz tour?

The last thing Morrissey should be doing at the moment is announcing new tour dates in any shape or form. He should prioritise his health, his relationship with his new management and the release of BOT. Those tour cancellations over the last year or so have created so much negative publicity.

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

Their articles are usually poor. Especially this part :- 'Despite the disagreements, Marr and Morrissey embarked on successful solo careers, especially Marr'........

Morrissey Central "SO THIS IS WHERE YOUR FATHER WAS BORN?" (February 22, 2024)

Having seen The Smiths twice this is the closest I have ever read of the experience being described. After the first one I said to my pal we will never see a gig or a band as good as this again. I was right.

Morrissey is now being managed by Pete Galli of Red Light Management (February 12, 2024)

This is all very good news until you realise that Morrissey is in fact unmanageable.

Morrissey Central "Bonfire of teenagers" (February 7, 2024)

It pains me to see good loyal fans take this Central post as some sort of sign that BOT will now get released. This changes nothing. Morrissey's reputation is as low as it can possibly be throughout the recording industry. Worthwhile remembering there was one person only who botched BOT being...

Brooklyn Vegan: "The Alchemist & Hit-Boy's new EP has a song called "Morrissey"" (February 1, 2024)

I'm really disappointed the lyrics don't say how they were all HUGE Moz fans once but of course their views no longer align with those of Morrissey...

Morrissey Central "CANCEL CULTURE BEGINS AT HOME" (January 11, 2024)

Really good that Skinny has been on to tell us it's all about the money and always has been. Think that's the 10th year in a row. I love familiarity.

Morrissey Central "SHAKE THE HAND THAT SHOOK THE HAND" (January 5, 2024)

I'm sure there was once a rumour of doing a cover of 'Can't Explain' by The Who and also a mention of wanting an Alan Whyte co-write on Maladjusted to sound like The who.
