Hello everyone,
I'm trying to track down a ticket stub for the 2007 Bakersfield California show. I was there but misplaced my used ticket during a move. I'd be happy to compensate you for your trouble but please no outrageous asking prices. Thank you.
Hello everyone. You probably agree that the Move Festival bonus tracks on the Who Put the M In Manchester DVD are superb. Has anyone ripped them? Thanks for reading.
So glad you were able to secure tickets. Those prices were well out of reach for this poor little social worker, especially since I want to see a few more bands this year in concert. I've also heard mixed reviews, some of the negative ones being from Stewart Copeland himself!
Paresi and Spencer, hands down. They're articulate and dare I say elegant drummers, with a finesse and class not found among the other guys...however Matt Walker would come in at a close 3rd. They possess greater technique, control, orchestration and originality. They're a drummer's drummers
So I've lost out twice now, first for the supposed KROQ presale and now the general sale. I'm more than mad, but I won't use any obsceneties or point any fingers. So now this little forumer is simply going to plea. Any offers for a single ticket for the saturday gig (i can only go on saturday)...
dropping Smiths songs = denying an important history
denying an important history = a DEADLY sin
Not to mention it would be a selfish, self serving decision on the artist's part to delete such songs from a live repetoire. They may be YOUR songs, but there's an audience that loves those songs...
The world has lost another invaluable talent. RIP. Right now I'm playing along to Maceo Parker's "Life on Planet Groove" in honor of JB. (Maceo was one of Brown's horn players).
I'm not surprised to find MM haters among this crowd. For some reason it's easy to loathe the unfamiliar in this particular web community. I liked MM before Marr joined and now I'm sure I'll enjoy them even more. Thank you for the link.
Was anyone a fan of Morricone BEFORE he contributed to the Ringleader album? Me me me!!! :) But really, the soundtracks to The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, Once Upon a Time in America and The Professional are near and dear to my heart.
I quite like Cradle of Filth, but they're a bit too popular for me as far as death metal/black metal is concerned. I'd rather listen to My Dying Bride or Opeth \m/ Opeth's "To Bid You Farewell" is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard.
