There's nothing Morrissey could have said to change it. Basically every pop singer supported Hillary, pop singers with a huge fanbase, and still Trump was elected.

There are higher stages and heavier security now, that's why we dont see so many people climbing the stage anymore. But I believe he enjoys when people do it, fans climbing over security and being punched in the face just to touch you? That's a great way to feel loved.
