Weird. I'm not too sure exactly what this song is saying, but it doesn't seem to be about the working class as interpreted above. The 'you' character' seems to be middle class, and for most of the song M seems to be criticising his / her ways, including the way he / she looks down on the teenage...
I'm not sure I believe this was a way of working for the Smiths; maybe one or two songs, but Moz often leaves instrumental sections in odd places in his solo work - Suedehead being a prime example. Then again, maybe his way of working changed over the years too. I just don't think this applies...
Moz doesn't write the musical backing, but he comes up with his own vocal lines, so he does partially write the music.
And his vocal lines are often highly inventive; a lot of the time, they are the last thing anyone else would think of singing over the backing. Often, they completely make the...
So the brand of cassette didn't exist while the Smiths existed, and I don't think I can see the word "Smiths" on the card. Is it even definitely them??
Terrible new photo choices.
I wonder if M secretly likes photos in which he looks laughably bad, eg Swords cover.
The vinyl I'm missing personally is Maladjusted. Wish they'd put that out again. Cover couldn't be much worse. Then again...
Two points:
The posts seem to be Sam, but the awful 'tell-lie' pun reminds me of Moz (remember 'king-dumb'??
Also
Is the finger-pointee really Moz? Or chosen cos it looks like him?
The wet markets are pretty horrible, yeah
But they've been going on for years
Not a scientist, but i can"t see how wet markets can be blamed for this
Coronaviruses change every year - my work gives me the flu jab for free, which is never the same one year after year
People look for someone /...
It doesn't really matter what ethnic group they are from. Sexual exploitation has no colour. Tjinder wasn't asked about that, so it's not relevant here. But he was asked about Moz, so he answered. Tjinder understandably feels vindicated cos of M's recent antics. I wish Moz hadn't created this...
Well, i felt there was no reason to mention them, other than to fuel racist feeling towards Tjinder, so i was appalled.
At the time, i felt the protest at the record company was a bit lame - felt like they were trying to increase their profile by knocking Moz, who hadn't done much to warrant it...
