I've bought the Deluxe LP. Is this also available on CD anywhere? As you know, Morrissey's songs, etc are often later deleted from streaming services so I'd like to have them also on CD... Is it on CD anywhere? US? UK? Japan?
I feel very lucky having seen "THE NATIONAL FRONT DISCO" live in San Jose. One of my favorite ever solo songs. And you can do whatever you want to ME too, but don't send me to Lincoln Nebraska either... Can't believe he played Nebraska and Kansas....
Morrissey's biggest fan base, by a MILE, is Los Angeles. More so even that London or Manchester. They'll always get his best show! Although, I cannot believe that on this tour he played "TO GIVE (THE REASON I LIVE)" yet again! Are there really people out there thinking
"Rather than something...
Your response is cute, but listen clown, he has THIRTY years of material! The Stones play the same setlist every night because they're all ninety. Play one f***ing different song from your multi-decade career. And I don't follow him around like a lifeless asshole. And what's really embarrassing...
Sad that he didn't pepper in a single different song... Just re-arranged the running order. Wonder which city will be the lucky ones to get "Kick The Bride Down the Aisle"?
Maybe I'm judging that on the couple in front of me... Guy turns to girl. "This is the new song? YIKES. Time to get a drink." and she replies "I'll come with you."
Fairly slow... His voice sounded great on it... but yes, waves of people exited the room. It's something he'll likely sort out as the tour progresses. I hoped for "KICK THE BRIDE DOWN THE AISLE"... I mean, I've never heard it but perhaps replace MEAT IS MURDER or WORLD PEACE IS with that one or...
it was aggressive and abrupt. People likely wondered if he was OK as they parted. I think people left in a rush because they wouldn't sell you the coffee mugs until after the show concluded and the line queued up quickly after the abrupt ending. I however was smart. I paid someone $5 extra to...
That setlist is accurate. Here are a quick few points. I'll be honest in my observations, so please don't shoot the messenger:
He was less chatty than usual.
Fans responded explosively to HAND IN GLOVE, but "World Peace Is None of Your Business" got an icy reception and people headed for the...
The mastering on all CDs through Southpaw Grammar are piss poor and sound way too low. Listen to "Speedway" or "Seasick..." - just so so low and need to be given new life. Though both of those songs above will be hacked off their respective re-issued albums and replaced with an instrumental demo...
The list of singles releases of which he should have been most proud...
(just an opinion)
1. "WILLIAM, IT WAS REALLY NOTHING" - 12" Single.
B-sides: "How Soon is Now?" and "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want"
Is there a finer 12" single on the planet? WAIT, HOW SOON IS NOW is the...
How about a worst list ?Worst releases/Morrissey moments1. Ringleader Of The Tormentors2. Southpaw Grammer 3. Kill Uncle - loved Morrissey in 1991, great tour.... But Found, Found, Found is a lowlight of his career...4. The 2010 re-presented version of "Ouija Board" with my favorite verse...

10. How Soon Is Now...
It's much easier to just stop complaining and hand over your money.
There are obviously people who will have everything. There are people who are so cheap they will denounce everything. EVERY ARTIST on the planet is interested in making money. And it's how they make a living, so why not? Not...
Oh, I should clarify.. The transferring from the original source to CD hadn't been perfected. Back then, there was the huge back-and-forth of why Vinyl sounds so much better. This was a quote from 1989 "The probably with CDs is they're basically a very convenient format with the sound quality of...
thats actually better... I really don't need songs originally released in 2007 to be digitized the way we need it for songs when mastering sucked... Like 1988, 1989, 1990...
First, let's not be exhausting with the lame "Paint a Vulgar Picture" quotes... and let's not whine about money... If it has to happen, here's what SHOULD be on it:
Get someone proper to remaster it, like Bob Ludwig who did the Beatles catalogue 2 years ago, John Lennon catalogue last year...
I am connected with Mike Joyce on Facebook. He invites me to his DJ shows in Manchester, but I live in the U.S.
It's really him. So I asked him via a Facebook message: "On a Morrissey fan site, there's speculation as to Morrissey's height...Can you help here? Some say he's very tall, some...
