    Plymouth - Pavilions (June 30, 2011) post-show

Yeah. but you'll also see Iggy, Patti, and Lou. I'm soiling myself with jealousy. It's ominously quiet stateside, and that lineup is legendary. I cross my fingers for a Moz/Lou Reed duet. (Or the world's worst duet of "Now I wanna be your dog") Either way. You have an awesome day ahead of you.

Mike Joyce tweets on Glastonbury performance and "cover versions"

2 Brits, one Mexican, One Columbian, and 2 Americans. It's a fairly diverse collection of people on the stage. I don't care if Morrissey recruits a Tuba player from Turkmenistan. The nationalities of the people on stage are entirely irrelevant to the music. I'm okay with most of the Smiths...

Mike knows it's over. Still he clings. He just doesn't know where else he can go. Nowhere fast?

12ft Morrissey puppet to be paraded in Manchester

That looks like Morrissey as much as I look like Little Richard.:lbf:

Perth, Scotland - Perth Concert Hall (June 15, 2011) post-show

Um... Hate to break it to you, but "This Charming Man" really never graced the upper reaches of the charts. You and your girlfriend may be waiting in some bus stop purgatory circa 1983, but the rest of the world is not. 5 small years of the 80s, VS going on 25 as a solo act? Well...

Were you at the show, or are you just being an armchair asshole?

Morrissey on Janice Long (June 15, 2011) - reminder / reports

:thumb: 2 out of 3 aren't bad. As for the bitter old prunes hating, hating, hating... Maybe it's time for you to retire. Seriously. You've had 30 years out of the man. 3o f***ing years. I reckon that's most of anybody's life on here. Just shut up already. Be thankful that you...

Morrissey on Janice Long (June 15, 2011) - reminder / reports

BALLS!!! I have to tend bar until 2 in the morning... I gues I'll have to settle for listening to them in the small hours. I can't wait!

Whose music did you get into first

Morrissey. Summer of '91. He was blowing up everywhere in the states, and I was an impressionable 13 year old with heavy metal tastes. Well, That changed. Love the Smiths, nothing but respect, but I've had over half of my life filled with Morrissey's solo work.

Panic! At The Disco cover "How Soon Is Now?" in Boston (May 22)

Next time I'll keep my mouth shut. It really is terrible. I quite like hearing Richard Butler sing it, but c'mon folks. Pick a less cliched song to cover.

Great. Now I'll have to change my trousers.

Panic! At The Disco cover "How Soon Is Now?" in Boston (May 22)

Where is the link so that everyone can soil themselves in rage over how terrible it is? Don't tell anybody, but I don't even really care to hear HSIN at a Morrissey show in the future. It's been done, and is a bit long for placement in a 75 minute setlist.

    Morrissey turns 52 - May 22, 2011

Any damned thing he pleases, career wise. "It could all end tomorrow, or it could go on forever." I just want the man who has given me so much to remember to enjoy himself. Especially amid such rampant negativity.

    Morrissey turns 52 - May 22, 2011

Happy birthday, you magnificent bastard. Don't do it for us. Don't do it for the 14 year old who found you hiding in his/her mother's record collection. Certainly don't do it for the hateful bastards of Morrissey so-low. Do it for yourself, and only if you want to. Thank you for...

Eugene Morrissey Tribute Night (May 21)

Sadly, I am 100% stuck behind my bar for the night. Give 'em hell for me, Tara.

More UK dates; band line up from TTY

Well, well, well, the bitter words of SOME people on here are a load of horse manure. On one hand, you praise Kristeen Young in a roundabout way, on the other, you excoriate Doll and the Kicks. I happened to quite like Doll and the Kicks, and I was not alone. I've seen opening bands met...

More UK dates; band line up from TTY

Roughly 80-90 minutes. I've always felt that given his catalogue, they could be longer. In the end, I'm always simply grateful to have seen him perform at all.
