I didn't see or smell any meat except outside, ladies cooking up sausages on makeshift grills using a cookie sheet on a shopping cart, which looked frankly disgusting.

I was sure to arrive early so as not to miss Tom Jones, and he did not disappoint. His voice was strong & had great range. He did a variety of songs - covers of Tom Waits, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Bond 'Thunderball' and of course 'It's Not Unusual', which he noted was his first hit single...

I was so disappointed by this statement! It had the perfect ingredients : a shameless celebrity callously killing a beautiful, endangered animal for the pleasure of taking a photo, no one can argue there's any justification for this. Then of course, it dilutes to the same old subjects...
In 2007 Morrissey did a show at the Ventura Theater, and tickets were $100 at the door. I would have loved to see the show but couldn't stomach that price, even for Morrissey.
