It was researched and created as a daily webcomic from 2012-2014 and the period it refers to is 1959-1982 (just as The Smiths formed).

Reminds me of Morrissey's quote: "The 100 metres was my raison d'etre" which I illustrated for my Tales of The Smiths graphic biography (published by Omnibus Press in Autumn).
