    From the most recent material, these all check the box for me too. Some of them are tough to get to love like "I bury the living" but its a brilliant song lyrically. Jim Jim Falls and What Kind of People would be added to that list.

    At the first American show in San Diego, I can remember the collective audience looking at each other like "what the hell is this?". I recall one song that the hook was "Gertrud Stein was never called an asshole". That was my recollection.

    Check out "Fear" from their album Sway. I've genuinely liked each new album since they hit with "Hate Me" on foiled. I hope your happy, Home, Sway are all great albums with lots of catchy songs. Glad some of you liked it and got introduced to a new band.

    I too am glad i followed this thread and discovered A-ha had new music. I loved 2009's Foot of the Mountain. I hadn't paid attention much since then and this post triggered me to find out about 2015's Cast in Steel, and so far I really like it!

    I have the original Canadian import of this one. I was pumped when I found this back in the day. Her version of Jeane makes up for what she did to Hand In Glove. I Don't Owe You Anything is pretty good too.

    We flew to Vegas for the show that would have been about a week before Coachella. We found out it was cancelled with everyone else, at the House of Blues. Then we had to stress about whether or not to drive to Coachella. Worked out.

    My wife and I went strictly for Morrissey. I didn't see any other bands. At the time I was annoyed to have to deal with a crowd like that to see his show.

    I think the first song was Your Gonna Need Someone on your side and my first reaction was "who the f*** is this goon playing drums". They sounded terrible. I think it cleaned up with the mix eventually. Not a fan of Spike's drumming

    Didn't make it past "Sand". I like some of this dudes stuff, but this, not so much.
