Congrats David. I still remember finding this site in May 1997, then meeting you in line at Massey Hall later that year and talking about it and being impressed by the passion you had for your project. I can't believe you and I have been meandering here for 25 years. Wow. Time certainly flies...
"Shot in Chicago". Call me a cynic but I was expecting something sensational, like:
"Kidnapped in Mexico", "Accosted by Police in Rome", and "throat scrapings"!
Dodged a bullet in Chicago!
I'm 25 minutes into it now, and it's basically a high-school production with horrible acting, no plot to speak of, and I shit-you-not, at least 1/3 of the dialogue is lyrics. It's the bastard step-child of Glitter and Norbit.
I've had a hunch for awhile that "Fiona" doesn't actually exist. This pretty much clinches it for me. Just waiting for "her" next article to make reference to bulbous salutations.
Only time the topic of charitable donations or generosity ever come up on this website are when talking about anyone other than Morrissey, lol. Has anyone ever heard of Steve donating to anything other than public support for Peta, etc? Just a question.
Really? This is idol worship gone too far. Let her rest. She was a private person in life, let her be in death. Pick through his trash and have a eulogy for an apple core. Madness.
It's ironic that most of the people in this thread that are being overly critical of this idea, are the same ones who call out people for being critical of Morrissey, usually after he puts foot in mouth.
You would think Alain somehow offended them personally. Nope. Just sheep.
The album is presently being ‘rebooted’ by producer Tony Visconti and will feature more sections by Ennio Morricone and his orchestra from the 2005 sessions in Rome
Hopefully it was planned before Ennio died. But I'm not so sure anymore. Sigh.
