I noticed that and just assumed it was a variation of the adhesive backed “day of” passes. I’ve photo passes of that era, but they are triangular. Curious myself.
I’m “this close” to changing my profile pic to your Octo-Moz doodle and commenting on every page of every thread as protest for it being moved… (even though you/we were warned 😉)
That way it can be seen in all of its irrelevance on every page. I kid, of course. I do like it, though 😊
It would be hard to argue against that suggestion, BUT I personally don’t blame Jesse for what transpired at that time. It was a matter of circumstances more than anything, imo. Things could have been handled differently, I’m sure, but I’d hesitate to assign “blame” to one person. That said...
It’s possible this is simply an oversight as a transition in management takes place and the current one gets acclimated. It’s also possible there is an ongoing disconnect between the different tentacles that is the Moz octopus. It seems like there is always a lack of communication that causes...
While it may not have been noticeable until around that time, with the examples noted, it had begun long before that, imo. Maybe even close to ten years prior, actually.
I can't confirm, nor deny it extended beyond Donnie, but... to wonder if there were multiple reasons Al and Gus, etc. quit the setup wouldn't be a big stretch ;)
I hate the use of the flavor-of-the-day word, toxic, but it definitely applied to how things were run. Ultimately, M is happy with how...

Personally, while I'd love a paid...
I was hit with a tinge of sadness when I first read Mike’s reply, too
“It’s their song”
I don’t care that one wrote and sang the lyrics overtop music written by the other. They were a band and those songs wouldn’t be the same without each other.
I'm in contact with a fair share of M fans here in LA and fairly or not there really is still a bitterness about the Greek show walk-off. There are other reasons people aren't jumping all over this (recent cancelations, lack of any band members involved with the record, general public...
I grew up watching the show and I actually liked the film. It was both a great spoof and homage to the tv series. Loved the end bit with David and Paul guesting as well them incorporating the tune into the film.
Just wanted to note that FWD and others running the ship here have been very supportive of AW and what we’re doing. Have been since day one and it’s greatly appreciated. There did seem to be some minor blowback a couple of years ago from some visitors when so much of what was going on in AW...
