I hate posting on this place, but please check the version physically pressed on the reverse of the 'Sweet and Tender Hooligan' 7" in the deluxe 'Complete' boxset.
Mine is a different mix - the easiest way to notice -...
I have a spare ticket for the Austin show for sale on Ebay, starting at 99p. (Was forced to buy two from a tout when I only needed one, so i need to sell the other one for whatever I can get!)

Hate to be pedantic, but he doesn't actually 'frown' at all at the end. His eyebrows go up - not down. Which is usually a gesture of suprise or incredulity. Morrisssey is just 'being Morrissey' - making hilariously overblown statements for the press, in grand Oscar Wilde style. The whole...
They've been gathering dust in my wardrobe for too many years, so I'm selling a couple of vintage Smiths T-Shirts on Ebay (starting 99p each):

Re: Reel Around The Fountain demo 45 on Complete Deluxe box - it's the Tate version,
They possibly don't even own the set - just a download version they've nicked off some torrent site.
Additionally the entry for the set on Passions Just Like Mine is currently incorrect (it claims that the...
Re: Reel Around The Fountain demo 45 on Complete Deluxe box - it's the Tate version,
Because they believe only what they read on the press release/info booklet? I had the same issue with everyone denying there was a different mix of 'I Keep Mine Hidden', but people finally seem to have...
Nope - it's only available on the deluxe version of the new 'Complete' Smiths boxset - ie the one that comes with the all the vinyl LPs and 7" singles as well as the CDs. It's not available as part of the official MP3 downloads that came with the set either, which points to it being a f*** up...
Sonically the whole thing seems a lot fuller than the original version (or, indeed the remastered MP3 Rhino version), so I'm presuming it's a relatively new mix, rather than some long lost alternate dating from the same time as the original. I love the song, but the recording has always sounded...
Someone in the archives has obviously got their mix tapes mixed up. Which is nice for us.
I remember that when 'The Sound of the Smiths' was first announced by Rhino (as 'Hang the DJ: The Very Best of the Smiths'), 'I Keep Mine Hidden' was included in the tracklisting. It was later nixed from...
Actually the vinyl and MP3 versions of 'Reel' do match up - they both have that ghostly guitar line before the drums start.
This was actually the only other track I downloaded on MP3, because as far as I can hear these are the only two songs on the entire box set that have never been officially...
I actually just tried and failed, which sounds like a terrible tease, but it really isn't. Loads of recording gear on my computer, but no matching leads to connect my hi-fi output up to my PC - tried it through the 'Headphone Out' and it sounded like a ghost farting. Someone else must have the...

Mine is a different mix - the easiest way to notice - immediately after Morrissey sings 'It's so easy for you' a loud guitar line...
On Ticketmaster there was nothing on the initial stage that looked like a standing ticket that you could choose on the dropdown menu, so I paniced for a second as well. However, I just chose the 'best available' option, and when it took me through to the next stage the only ticket it offered me...
Yeah, modern day Morrissey lyrics suck! The old classy Morrissey would never write about something as absurd as mooning. Thank God the Smiths never had lyrics about Morrissey dropping his trousers to the Queen. Can you imagine how awful that would be?
Simple - 'Oye Esteban' was a USA only DVD, and was never officially released in the UK.
'Very Best of Morrissey' meanwhile is a UK only release - hence for a UK audience those videos are "previously unreleased" on DVD.
It's NOT a noble cause. If you give your money to Cancer Research UK you are funding vivisection. As a PETA supporter I can't see Morrissey supporting animal research. Short of raising funds for a pro-meat lobby group I can't think of anything more innapropriate.
