I've seen Morrissey plenty of times but I haven't seen him play for quite a while now, for a number of reasons. But I've always bought his albums and enjoyed them.
Tonight's gig was fantastic. He and the band sounded great. The set list was what I'd guess one would expect of an artist of his...
I'm here. Folkestone's never seen anything like it etc. Just had Je t'aime on the screen, and now some lads singing and dancing on an estate.
He has to play EDILS and dedicate it to tonight's venue's location....
I think I've got one of these (we used to go to the Rough Trade office in Collier St and ask awkward questions and they'd give us stuff to get rid of us!!).
Might schedule a trip up to the loft for £220...!
As it happens, Johnny Marr is due to be down the road in Tunbridge Wells a couple of days later. Perhaps they could meet at the motorway services by Leeds Castle?
I saw Frankie Boyle there last week and thought he was very funny. But other than that the only time I go there is for my kids' dance school end of year show!
I know someone mentioned this the other day but it would be so much nicer if he could announce a whole tour in one go. I bought tickets for the Troxy show and now he's announced that he's playing 2 miles down the road from me in Folkestone. Hey ho.
