At least she is going to try it for 21 days. Hurray for Oprah! Even better, her reasons are for compassion and conscious eating...thinking about where your food comes from and what animal was made to suffer for it...not just for the health benefits. I love that she is putting this message out...

I actually found that becoming vegetarian simplified my life in many ways...
-fewer choices to pick from on a menu (big plus for a girl who can't make up her mind :))
-not having to shop in the meat aisle in grocery (saves time, $ and yuck factor)
-no prep/cooking time
