Dana Gillespie announces new studio album, "First Love" (includes "Spent The Day In Bed", out May 31, 2024)

I'm ashamed, ashen-faced, aggreived and almost agitated at my abject absence of awareness of this artist. At least now we know that Moz kmows how to send e-mails.

Morrissey Central "DARLING, IT’S ALL FOR YOU" (March 25, 2024)

Of course the headline on Moz Central should have read 'Darling, it's all for me.'

At the same corner where they're selling the Brooklyn Bridge.

And at €32.99 (at least on some sites) you can afford to buy multiples for friends and neighbours.

But is it news? If this is the April RSD 12" then we knew about it weeks ago when they released the list. The Interlude RSD is VASTLY over-priced at €32.99. It's twice the price it should be.

Is this the RSD April one we already knew about?

Morrissey Central "Elegance" (March 23, 2024)

Nice keyboard playing. The rest is bog standard cover band and the vocal is yah whatever.

Record Collector: Jim Reid (The Jesus And Mary Chain) on The Smiths debut album

Might just be me but I always thought J&MC were over-rated and wouldn't recognise a melody if it landed on their heads. Doesn't bother me in the slightest what some of them think about Smiths/Moz, or what anyone thinks.

The Guardian: Neil Morrissey on Morrissey - "Poor bloke" (March 14, 2024)

I didn't realise they were questions from the public. I retract, redact, and regret my post.

The Guardian: Neil Morrissey on Morrissey - "Poor bloke" (March 14, 2024)

The question was ignorant and aggressive and demeaning and insulting. The answer from Neil was the best he could do. f***ing braindead 'journalists'.

Morrissey Central "RENAISSANCE MONTURA HOTEL LOBBY AT LAX (Los Angeles)" (March 18, 2024)

Is the 'Every Day' meant to be slightly out of focus, inferring how the days blur, or just a crap phone/photographer. I'd have taken 3 and picked the clearest.

Morrissey Central "THE LAST OF IRELAND" (MARCH 17, 2024)

I think he died old and as a ghost rejoined his friends who also died old, and all are ghosts, returned to a happy time when they were carefree children.

Sara Gilbert wears The Smiths with Carmen Vandenberg

That tshirt is like a cross between Lou Ferigno (The Incredible Hulk) and a random mouth breather.

MEN: "Art trail featuring Sinead O'Connor, Morrissey and Shane McGowan murals takes over Manchester" (March 1, 2024)

Most of them are dead. Viva Moz for being one of the very few who holds his candle high despite the darkening din of the outraged onslaught of culture cancelling crass clowns.

MEN: "Art trail featuring Sinead O'Connor, Morrissey and Shane McGowan murals takes over Manchester" (March 1, 2024)

So glad FWD posted the images because that M.E.N. website is a disaster to navigate with ads and crap popping up.

Uncut: "When Exactly Do You Mean? - Growing pains: A Smiths miscellany and timeline" (next month)

Morrissey has not looked at an Uncut magazine for many years, and does not glance at magazines (and The Severed Alliance) unless at gunpoint*. *Also unless he's at the hairdresser and is bored answering questions about where he's going on holidays.
