He probably got tired of people asking him to rank his albums so he just made this list, though I feel like this isn't the first time he has ranked them, it is kinda weird that World of Morrissey and My Early Burglary Years weren't included but Rare Tracks and the Best of/Greatest Hits/Singles made it

Maybe the context for numbering is suggested listening.
 
It's Pride week this week in many places around the world (it's normally in June, but this year it's in Sep/Oct because of the pandemic), so the timing of this is interesting.

Well - what's on the horizon? No shows, no deal, decimated fan-base - what would you do?
I wouldn't be too worried if I was a multi millionaire with rabid screaming fans turning up to concerts and decimating the merch bar. Moz is doing fine. He owes us nothing at this stage anyway.

if this is intended as his ranking of albums, best to worst, it surely is a strange one.
I don't think a similar list prepared by anyone on here would closely resemble this.
