Like it or not, it's hard to deny that Joe C has had a profound impact on the Morrissey sound.
He's produced four albums now (World Peace, High School, California Son and Dog on a Chain) - I think he's also produced the extra songs that have appeared between albums.
So choose your favourite 10.
1. Knockabout world
2. Smiler with knife
3. Julie in the weeds
4. I thought you was dead
5. Bobby, don't you think
6. The girl from Tel Aviv
7. Hurling days
8. Staircase at university
9. Spent the day in bed
10. Oboe concerto

Have just added in the composer - not sure about all of them

I think this period, as far as the music goes, is one of my favorite. World peace and dog in a chain are in my top five morrissey albums right now with swords not to far behind. Modern grumpy fed up annoyed nostalgic and bleak morrissey suits me well. It also helps that he’s playful in new amusing ways. I for one have really loved some of the new on stage outfits

I thought you was dead
Brow of my beloved
I’m not a man
Mt joy
Staircase (the music here is just to good not to add)
Darling I
What kind of people
Dog on a chain
Jim Jim falls
Spent the day in bed

I could make another list tomorrow that didn’t include any of these these and it could still be valid depending on how I felt then. Again on record morrissey has very much impressed me the last decade

1: My Love I’D Do Anything For You
2: What Kind of People Live In These Houses?
3: Istanbul
4: Morning Starship
5: Spent The Day In Bed
6: Mountjoy
7: Once I Saw The River Clean
8:Some Say I Got Devil
9: Back On The Chain Gang
10: Oboe Concerto

That's like asking out of thirty kicks in the balls, which one did you like the most?

For someone who spends a lot of their time on a Morrissey site criticising Morrissey, I'd imagine you would be the type to like all 30 kicks!

I agree that Jo Chicarelli has added an interesting chapter to the Morrissey discography, albeit a bit un even at times.
Interestingly, I give him credit first and foremost for pulling the band out of its comfort zone, although the appearence of new songwriters may also have contributed to this. His production style has also underscored Morrissey's vocal abilities nicely. Morrissey's singing was superb on these albums. My favorites, in chronological order:

Staircase at the university
Mountjoy
Forgive someone
Home is a ?
Israel
I thought you were dead
Some say I got devil
Bobby
Once I saw the river clean
Hurling days
