Just a bit if info wanted. You see a lot of smiths singles 12" white label promos for sale on eBay, prices vary, usually £30-60. But how can you tell the difference from a white label promo to the much rarer white label test pressings? Labels the same, matrix numbers I assume are the same, plain sleeves. Is there any way to tell the difference?

Generally speaking the early 12" white label singles(up to How Soon Is Now)are test pressings.Singles after this were heavily promoted with white label 12"s, pressed in the 1000's and easy to source from ebay or discogs.
