An early Canadian version of The Queen Is Dead CD?

Just curious, I found a version of the Canadian The Queen Is Dead CD which is different from the one I already own (same as described on PJLM). Could this be an earl version of the Canadian The Queen Is Dead CD? The 'early' version is the lower CD in the pictures.

The top one was produced some time between 2003 and 2009, when Sire's distribution was with AOL Time Warner. The bottom one was produced some time before 1990, when Warner Communications ceased to be because of the merger with Time.
