Commodore 64

Did anyone use it, back in the days? In my childhood, in the 80s, behind the iron curtain it was the best computer you could possibly get. Very often I feel certain nostalgia - if only I could use it again and play the games I spent so many hours playing with....

Which game was your favourite? I know it may sound boring but I absolutely LOVED Tetris - this particular version. Especially for the music. I'm so glad I found it on youtube!

I was a programmer back in the day - ZX81-->Oric--->Commodore. I had a few programs published, including an extended BASIC for the Commodore 16. God knows where any of that stuff is now. I love the simplicity of 8-Bit Z80 and 6502 machines.

My older brother actually collects commodore 64 music, who was that guy who did most of the stuff, Hubbard something? There are modern electronic acts that use the SID commodore 64 music chip for that lovely sound:)

Yes, Hubbard, a genius. :D I didn't know about the c64 music chip still being used, wow! So there are people who actually appreciate the sound of it.

Oh yes, there is a great compilation from a few years back. I no longer have it but if you'd like I can look it up and send it to you (as a simple zip).
