Criminally Vulgar

Just avoid the little weasel
Goes for everyone
He’s no more than a little mouth piece

I’m not responding to this soap opera any more, I’ve gave my side. Like it. Lump it, I don’t care. Unethical, yeah of course, understandable, definitely. I’d say we’re square.

You said you were refunded for the first $800 item, right - the one you didn't receive. But PayPal's decision to refund you did make you 'all square' because you got your money back and the seller lost their sale. After that, you contrived to 'get your own back' with this weird scheme. What was the intended outcome - screw the seller out of his $900 price and THEN sell the record on to a collector and make another $900 for yourself? What a dick.

I sympathise with the poster, congratulate him on the investigative work, & thank him for posting it on here.
Based on what's been presented here, & if true, it's actually disgraceful behaviour from one of the members on this forum.
He (ob86) should absolutely receive a life-time ban, but I guess even cretinous behaviour such as this is permitted by @tseng.
To ordinarydrunk, do the right thing & return the money. You have the item which you flaunted on here.
I'm not sure how you can live with yourself you underhand, deceitful, piece of shit. f***ing disgrace.

“If you try to f*** me over you get it twice as hard, simple. If anyone gets their comeuppance from me, it’s justified.”

Awww, man, despise petty little men with no friends who are like this. Usually the most pathetic specimens of humankind yet in their heads they are some vengeful warrior who cannot be defeated. In my experience when you turn up on their doorstep unannounced at 11pm they SHIT themselves.

what so the intent to deceive me is fine as long as I got a refund? f*** off. I sold records from my own collection to fund that purchase. 8 weeks of ghosting, £650 down and a massive hole on my shelf where dozens of records used to be, all to fund this order the first time around. Your idea that “it’s fine” just Cos I got a refund, f*** off, dickhead relisted it months later at a higher price. The sympathy for this dude is hilarious.

The intent to deceive you was shitty but the refund DID level the playing field - and nobody was forcing you to sell your singles collection. Another thing that strikes me as strange is this - generally, when it comes to collectors, genuine people tend to remain genuine and scammers consistently scam. Why would this guy scam you once but then honour an identical purchase later, with a small price jump? What does he get out of that, an extra hundred dollars?

Wow - got a full refund for a non-delivered item, then decided to flat out steal something in revenge. What an ugly piece of shit you are.
Hopefully by admitting it here and with all the other proof Paypal will refund the original seller (though as Paypal are dicks to sellers generally, I wouldn't be surprised if they did nothing). Thanks for the 'sellers beware' warning at least - anyone willing to engage with this admitted crook in future needs their head examined.

imagine me giving a f*** what you think. Jumping in with your two bits on a matter you know nothing about. Conman’s been conned. It’s beautiful, you’re welcome, everyone Maybe he was going through a rough time, needed the coin, used me as a payday loan, and knew he was gonna have to pay it back when PayPal sussed him, but not after trying to get me to pay friends & family, so I had no security, playing the oh “I’m 50 year old ive been selling for years you can trust me” card. Good job I wasn’t born yesterday Cos someone else might bought it and lost the lot! 🤷🏻‍♂️ Nobody advocates fair trade and calls out frauds and fakes and liars more than me, I take it personally every time someone gets ripped off, I’ll never get tired of calling them out. And this guys just another chancer so f*** him. I’ve got nothing more to say about it.

No receipts on your end. Hmm!

ordinaryboy86 cries slander, threatens legal action
ordinaryboy86 claims thievery justified, motivated by revenge due to previous (and still entirely unsubstantiated) transaction

On the bright side: while the slander case seems legless, a postal fraud investigation will likely yield satisfying results.

Not only did he not lose any money, he knowingly conned the seller out of it, and then proceeded to parade said item on various boards (these being one of them) as a framed rarity. Certainly he wasn't telling anyone here he felt it was fake. I hope the OP shows all this evidence to paypal and they close his account minimum.

Yeah, it does sound that way, so I agree.

no f***in need to prove a thing to anyone on here, this is a private matter and got f*** all to do with you or anyone. And let me end this now, he’s not getting a penny back, not a single penny, so you’s can all crack on with your day.

You do kind of need to prove it for your reputation. Word might get around.

You can't "call out" crooks and frauds by becoming one, you bloody fool. You have ruined your seller's rep for this farce - imagine thinking you can just run away with $800 and still come out looking like the good guy!

It sounds to me like this alleged EBay transaction from back end of last year never even happened, and thus there was no refund. I’m sure we’ll see more creative explanations coming soon. Yikes. We call that chutzpah.

Is the original guy a conman? Posting that long story on here rather than disappearing? Complex big picture but confessing to crimes on here not best bet?!

i think this best sums it yo
All in all, OB or these things take time isn’t to be trusted as a seller.
And OB, before you launch into a tirade on that internet remember:
Thou wouldn’t do it fo their face.,

It's so strange! He threatened the OP with legal action for slander while confirming that he'd stolen the item & lied to PayPal.

Buyer accuses seller of slander and then confirms he (buyer) stole the record an hour later? :mock: A sharp criminal mind at work.

What was slanderous about the seller's timeline? It seems like everything posted happened, and ordinaryboy86 can't even proffer up the flimsiest shred of evidence to the contrary.

Also OB86 threatens prosecution, but can't even afford to pay for a record--who's covering the international legal fees? Maybe he thinks he can PayPal his lawyer his retainer.
