Now she's laying track. "But I was driving?"

I hope the following article is helpful in illuminating some of the dynamic behind this thread. It's clear that 'absent friends' regarded themselves as having some sort of 'editorial control', not realising that the site proprietor has that privilege along with the moderators.

I also hope this uncomfortable and discordant thread now slips into a gentle coma and a painless death. One can only hope that the overt attempt to seize control of this site is resisted at all times in the future, especially if troubled soul Morrissey reattains some mainstream popularity which brings 'newbs' to this lair. May they be free to express themselves without being hounded by 'tg;dr' redundancies.

"The word once had quite a specialised meaning, but it has now become a catch-all term to describe any behaviour that some editors or columnists deem inappropriate"

STFU for f sake! Do you have to turn everything into a complete diatribe where everyone starts to yawn at the 1st sentence?
Otherwise I will just have to conclude that you are either (and) on speed or Odd bod from you know where...

Why should I take any instructions from you? Your reaction to my writing is of no interest to me, in the same way as the reaction of the sadly departed Mentalist 3 was of no consequence. At least they spewed out some amusing GIFs/JPEGs.

I do not take speed and haven't since I was at punk gigs in the late 1970s. It's not a safe street drug. I do drink a lot of coffee, though I don't think that influences my writing.

I've no idea what " Odd bod from you know where..." means and no desire to understand your cyptic interior landscape. Sorry about that, my lovely!

Quite. If I was a new fan I'd take one look at this site in its current state and run swiftly in the other direction. Funny how much can change in 4 years.
