He placed Rubber Ring as the final song on the LP and then had the vinyl pressed to where the run out groove plays the 'You are sleeping...' sample endlessly until you remove the tonearm. Brilliant!
Many record players are "manual". Meaning you must remove the tonearm from the record yourself when it reaches the end. These are the one's it works on.
If you play this same record on an automatic return player it also does something interesting, it POPS the needle up IMMEDIATELY at the end of the sample!
It's like a ghost in the machine. Startling and very clever.
