Obviously not my auction, but worth sharing here as it does appear unique despite the large price tag.

Maxwell is a known photographer and has taken pictures of Joni before, but this image/session is sparse on details - The Rolling Stone article (March 6, 1997) cited earlier does validate that the Moz & Joni pictures together are by 'Robert Paul Maxwell'.

FWD.

(Anton Corbijn was the other person known to be taking pictures at the Primrose house circa mid '90s and used later for the ¡Oye Esteban! DVD).

Reckon I think his house on Sweetzer will always be his best house, since he has lived permanently no where else in his life except his hometown Moz Angeles. The palm trees and the large windows that would just let the right amount of sunlight in were too right bloomin' onion, but reckon sine there was no privacy all the foreigner loonie stalkers from Brittin, Serb, Sweatin and other assorted trailer park Euro trash sleeping in the trashcans at the bottom of the driveway was a c*** tit thick chipper curry wacker. The California Son's basketball court was top mental. There was always epic 1:1 games there with Ice Cube, Flea, Duff, and even Magic Johnson would stop by. Reckon the best is when John Maher would come down from Oregon with his entourage and The California Son would run his ass.

When him and Aunt Nancy moved in together in the current Malibu house, it just seemed too small with all of Aunt Nancy's clothes and boots, to add lil' Sammy living in the pool house, and John Lydon and Dave Evans as neighbors is poppycock wacker inn n nnn nnn nnnnnnn it.

Reckon the trees were not "added afterwards". Reckon why do you anti American terrorists here have to imply that every photo of the California Son in his hometown Moz Angeles is photo shopped somehow. Why are you sick lazy f***s so jealous. That's what makes America so much greater than the rest of the world. You work hard and you can be anything you want. The California Son's parents realized this when they immigrated to LA from the Republic of Ireland. That's what the real Moz Angeles looks like. There are beautiful trees and not people on meth sucking dick for a Big Mac or KFC like in Serb or New Brittin or balls falling from the sky and hitting people on the head mate inn n nnn nn nn nnn nn nn it c*** tit chipper thick wacker.

so true if anyone cares to compare:

Maybe the first sentence, but that Joni Mitchell song is awful trash. Torture to listen to the guitar player. Poor divil must have been trying to bake buns just before the session and forgot to take the oven gloves off. Somebody should have also told Joni she was wrapping a cat around her neck, and not a scarf at all. That's the only rational explanation for the strangled screeching.

Johnny Depp was a neighbour on North Sweetzer Drive

I walked up his driveway (very steep). He had his blue Jag parked in front of the house and it was pretty messy inside. It's just off of Hollywood Blvd but you would think it's in a middle of a tropical garden. Very peaceful.

Sunset blvd, but who cares? He doesn’t live there anymore.

Here's the strange part about Johnny Depp and that street that I am very curious about why it has never made the papers: Johnny Depp either directly, or through his manager Edward White who has his name and trust all over them, purchased every. single. house on that portion of Sweetzer leading up to Moz's old house, including Moz's old house since the time of Moz's departure (they were all owned by different private owners at the time Moz lived there).

Ok, for privacy? As an investment? But THAT's not the weird (re: shady). Those houses, valued probably in the $2-$3 million range, EACH have financing on them ranging from $5 million to $20 million on them. We're talking tens of millions of dollars taken out on a set of homes probably not worth much more than $15 million combined. They've used those homes (and others in other locations?) to bank roll JD and the bank most very well allowed it.

It has a very old fashioned sepia tone to this photo like ones taken from 1910 to 1930s. Nice photo shoot.
