Morrissey Central: "Everyday Is Like Sunday" - April 8, 2020

"World health is none of your business
you must not tamper with arrangements
work hard and sweetly pay your taxes
but never asking 'what for?'

World health is none of your business
police will stun you with their stun-guns
or they'll disable you with tasers
that's what government's for

World health is none of your business
so would you kindly keep your nose out?
the rich must profit and get richer
and the poor MUST stay poor

the next time you vote
don't repeat this process
the next time you vote
don't repeat this process … "

Morrissey Central: "Everyday" (April 8, 2020)

No person attributed for the lyric changes.
Regards,
FWD.

Don't vote, but vote for these fascists. They have nice badges.

Don't you ever get really tired of typing the same old shit, you stupid little tit?
I know everyone on here is tired of reading it....what's it achieving?
Nothing.
Bore off somewhere else & try & live the remaining part of your life with some dignity...instead of on this website. Try 'self-opinionated-narcissistic-bigot-need-2-get-a-life-sad-f***s-anonymous-dot-com'.

The levels this act will stoop too for publicity is no big surprise.
Come on Boorer it’s time for you to approach the record company again and represent Steve (Yawn) “Never has there been a better time to re-release Everyday Is Like Sunday” With all proceeds going to the British NHS.
Who will protect us from Social gathering on the streets and spreading the virus???
Big shout out to our fantastic British Police Force.

Reel yourself in your an utter embarrassment...Mr Foul Language and you think that helps you get a point across, you lose everytime, think about it.

I always thought this song marked the exact point where the wheels properly came off for Morrissey (lyrically and musically). Adding the shonky update to make it 'relevant' just seems to highlight what a load of vacuous twaddle it really is.

Spare us the political 'insights' from a semi-detached multi-millionaire living in tax exile in Lausanne, while the rest of us try to stay well, scrape together the means to survive, protect our most vulnerable loved ones and pray to God our prime minister doesn't die.

He's entitled to use his back catalogue on his website as he wishes, the song has been out there since 2014, he's played it consistently live since then and the song is relevant to what's happening no matter what you think.
The other things you mention are pretty much what people in hellish situations face every day whether the virus is around or not so perhaps reflect on what you have because maybe we're ALL facing the hellish situation right now.

The song has never been relevant, it was a load of meaningless tosh, then and now. Just adding 'health' to the words doesn't make it any more insightful. He's absolutely entitled to do whatever he wants, but he (and you) shouldn't whine if people are pissed off because he's misread the public mood. And kindly don't tell me to 'reflect on what you have', you know nothing about me.

Tbh Pep, I don't have any issues with what's on Moz's website, or with EILS being relevant to the current situation...I really think it is relevant, but others views may well differ, & I do still love the song. I've actually put together/adapted lyrics myself for a few Smiths/Moz songs just to pass the time and be 'creative'. I should have done it years ago & made a few millions. ;)

However, what I'm getting rather peed off about is all the celebs appearing on web doing their bits n pieces, & TV (the news actually) being patronising, and regurgitating the government straplines. It was Craig bloody David last night with him saying I've been putting some tracks together for this n that...have a listen (it was normal CD shit, frankly, the guy's a complete wipe). Call me cynical, but I view that as self-promotion & exploiting a global disaster, and f***ing Easter.

Maybe this website has made me over sensitive, or angry at many things I might never have been bothered about. Don't know whether to be thankful, or even more angry about that one!!

Haha, me whining oh the irony sourpuss! I know many things about you as you've revealed yourself like an Amsterdam stripper many times but here's one thing that'll do for now that everyone knows...your a bonafide IDIOT! ?

If you're going to insult me, at least have the decency to get your punctuation right.

Morrissey walked by a man on the street in Manchester who looked like he needed some human kindness.
Morrissey walked past, his boyfriend carrying his Harvey Nichols purchases, didn't acknowledge the poor fella.
He is the worst of hypocrites.
He's a rich hypocrite who's every gesture is revolting.

Nothing gets in the way of Morrissey and his need for attention and applause.
Egotistical, narcissistic disgrace.

I think you need to read Orwells 1984 and follow it with Aldous Huxleys Brave New World. You're seriously off kilter.

The rich would certainly get richer with For Britain in charge, Morrissey, because they propose a flat rate of income tax, which would see rates slashed for the wealthiest people in society. They would also end inheritance tax ensuring the very wealthiest people keep every single penny of their wealth. They would spend billions more on the military by cancelling foreign aid to poor countries. Furthermore, they would end all environmental taxes because they do not believe in a climate crisis, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. To them, nature isn't a language and, no, they can't read.
In fact, to most decent people, For Britain people sound like a bunch of absolute f***ing w***ers.
Are you absolutely sure that you want to give them you wholehearted endorsement?
Give it some thought.
Your civil rights have been taken from you and you're talking about last years news? Give it some thought.

Switzerland have banned 5G, he could be on to something.
The rest is FEAR - False Experience Appearing Real.
Boris is hiding out and you can be sure they won't ask him to sign a DNR like they have with the elderly.

Not as rich as Paul Heaton though - am I right?!

Paul Heaton is a socialist and gives a lot of his money to charity. He also belives in sharing as per this insight.

Paul Heaton has never hidden his socialism or left wing views. At the height of his commercial and critical success with the Beautiful South he insisted that the band was a co-operative with each member being paid the same.
