Hello Kes,

Glad to see you've taken over the board as of late. I think it has needed a good shot of humour, glamour, and chocolate chestnut torte for years. In fact, come to think of it,... it dawns on me now that perhaps it is exactly this that has always been just the problem, and hence the reason that I have never been propelled into posting before. But you know what they say,... there's a first time for everything. And then a next, and next, and a next, and a next.

Well, what can I tell you? I'm stunned. Been looking at some old posts for the first time in yonks. What a girl can miss when a girl is constantly in transit for years on end is truly amazing. Just a few observations, helpful hints, suggestions, thoughts, and random useless info for you.

A. Happy New Year's.

B. St. Petersburg wouldn't have me. First thought it was because the likes of me would turn Leningrad on its head,... then disappointingly turned out to be the rather tedious issue of not having applied for a visa in time.

C. Do you think dazzle camouflage works in cyberspace? You know me and my penchant for low profiles.... still high on the list of my priorites after all of these years.

D. Stop being such a cheapskate. I think your years on the proverbial commune (or did I mean to say plane?), and ongoing dabblings in the FX market have made you lose touch with reality. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THAT SONG IS. Drachmas? Rupees? and only 50? Give me a break. Offer something useful and valuable like 37 rubles and a ziploc bag full of rhinestones, and maybe THEN, CT would put us out of our misery. Hell, for even HALF a ziploc bag full of rhinestones, I'd tell anyone who asked me, all of my deepest, darkest secrets. Like, for instance, the fact that I'm quite partial to underwear with ruffles placed in strategic key areas. And other such bombshells.

E. It is particulary disheartening and such an incredible shame about that Strokes fan being such a .... Strokes fan. Who knew. sigh.... Will the disappointments in this life never cease?

Love,
Last time, Now, Next time, & in the New Year.
Once a Magpie,..... Always.

PS the one about the woodsman was particulary... visual. But then, who can say no to a cheap giggle?

Not me, not me, not me... never me.
