Half A Person
I realize this has been done before, but I sincerely wanted to contribute and the thread is archived (read-only). So here is my resurrection of it:
Viva Hate:
"a star at eighteen
and then suddenly gone
down to a few lines
in the back page of a faded annual"

Bona Drag:
"The balcony fool was me, you fool"

Kill Uncle:
"With no complications
fifteen generations
(of mine)
all honouring Nature
until I arrive
(with incredible style)"

Your Arsenal:
"I'd hate to be like
Certain people I know
They break their necks
And can't afford to
Get them fixed"

Vauxhall and I:
"Don't rake up my mistakes
I know exactly what they are
and...what do YOU do?
well...you just SIT THERE"

Southpaw Grammar:
"And if a fight broke out here tonight
You'd be the first away, because you're that type"

"Show me a barrel and watch me scrape it
Faced with the music, as always I'll face it
In the half-light
So English, frowning
Then at midnight I
Can't get you out of my head
A disenchanted taste
Still running 'round"

You Are The Quarry:
"Drinking tea with the taste of the Thames
Sullenly on a chair on the pavement
Here you'll find, my thoughts and I"

Ringleader of the Tormentors:
"Life is a pigsty
And if you don't know this
Then what do you know?
Every second of my life I only live for you
And you can shoot me
And you can throw me off a train
I still maintain"

Years of Refusal:
"An end-of-the-ride sigh
your soft smile says:
'please understand, I must surrender'
Then you grip with your hand
now so small in mine
are you aware wherever you are
that you have just died?"

World Peace is None of Your Business:
"You're that stretch of the beach
That the tide doesn't reach
No meaning, no reason
The lonely season"

Low in High School:
"I rescued you in so many ways
'You're good for a laugh', that's all you can say
Summer is winter and winter prevails
And I'm so tired of counting the days"

All I need is "what makes most people feel happy leads us headlong into harm".
It is in fact the story of my life and only a misanthrope like me and Moz will understand.

Viva Hate: Driven home in a car - no breaks? I don't mind

Bona Drag: I've always been so kind to the sick and to the partially blind

Kill Uncle: I'm just passing through here, on my way to somewhere civilized and maybe I'll even arrive

Your Arsenal: I used to dream and I used to vow, I wouldn't dream of it now

Vauxhall And I: She was nobody's nothing

Southpaw: You hear the way this sad voice sings and you start to imagine things, any excuse to write more lies

Maladjusted: I'll flop on your bed, with a head full of dread for all I've ever said

You Are The Quarry: Steely Blue eyes with no love in them scan the world and a humorless smile with no warmth within greets the world

Ringleader of the Tormentors: It only hurts because it's true

Years of Refusal: Then came an arm around my shoulder, well, surely the hand holds a revolver

WPINOYB: If it breaks your legs then don't come running to me

Low In High School: The American way displayed proudly, is to show lots of teeth and talk loudly

Viva Hate: Rejection is one thing but rejection from a fool is cruel
or maybe: It wasn't youth, it wasn't life born old, sadly wise
or all of "Late Night, Maudlin Street"

Bona Drag: Such a little thing A gentle tone of kindness Or written words on paper - can you write?

Kill Uncle:
"Oh, I don't want
To be judged anymore
I don't wnat to be judged
I would sooner be Loved
I would sooner be
Just blindly loved..."

Your Arsenal: I am a poor freezingly cold soul So far from where I intended to go

Vauxhall And I: All of the rumours Keeping me grounded I never said, I never said that they were Completely unfounded

Southpaw: And we just can't wait to make more mistakes And to fluff our breaks And to stuff our faces with cake

World of Morrissey:
Everyone's oh so quick with advice
And when they've all said their piece
It's still you I love
Now just like then

When the gulf between
All the things I need
And the things I receive
Is an ancient ocean wide, wild, lost, uncrossed

turning in work incomplete

Viva hate - Came home late one night, everyone had gone to bed, but you know no one stays up for you, I had 16 stitches around my head

Bona Drag - Most people keep their brains between their legs

Kill Uncle - You didn't even call me, cause its not your style (to dial)

Your Arsenal - We are the last truly British people you will ever know

Vauxhall and I - Dallow, Spicer, Pinky, Cubitt, rush to danger wind up nowhere

Southpaw grammar - The girl of your dreams is here all alone

Maladjusted - You stalk the house in a low cut blouse

You are the quarry - Under slate grey Victorian sky

Ringleader of the tormenters - To me you are a work of art, and I would give you my heart

Years of refusal - I have been thinking what with my final brain cell how time grips you slyly in its spell.

World peace - stockyard, churchyard your mammys back yard

LIHS - If i get there would you meet me? Wrap your legs around my face just to greet me?
