Was there any reason given that there were no European Dates for this tour?
I've always been curious, since 84 and 85 both had shows played in Europe?

Well, The Smiths were always casual about their European dates, cancelling most of their 1984 concerts and a couple from 1985. And I suppose after they burned themselves out on a long US tour (resulting in cancelled dates! ) and a UK one where they obviously weren't very happy, I suppose Europe was the least of their worries. I'm surprised they never went to Japan, though. Although come to think of it, I'm not ...
