He is in a stable condition, any progress is likely to be slow and the family are asking for donations to be made to London Air Ambulance. They are also asking for Marc's dignity to be respected.

I have to go to the hospital today for my own various medical hoo-has, so I would ask about him, but the staff have been given strict instructions not to discuss Marc with other interested hospital-goers.

Do spread the word about donating to the London Air Ambulance though, if you come across anyone who was thinking of sending flowers etc. We are very proud of it (not much to get excited about round Stepney way!) and it has become a sort of mascot for the East End. Not to mention the invaluable service it provides.
