Intro Song List

Apologies in advance for any duplication of threads but does anyone have the list of songs being played on this tour prior to Moz's entrance onto the stage?

Many Thanks.

hi - well at the apollo he definately played The Ramones' "Leave Home" - as i remember hearing Oh Oh I Love Her So and Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment, and also Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" - At the Opera house i think there may have been some Serge Gainsburg too - the music he came onstage to at both gigs was "You'll Never Walk Alone" covered by The Smoking Popes, hope this clarifies something for you

Joy Division?

He's cut them down so much in the past though...

I guess he likes the most un-Joy Division sounding song there is like everybody else.

From Sami's comment, it sounds like the list is mutating quite a lot - with the exception of You'll Never Walk Alone, none of those songs were played at the early U.S. dates - so it's looking like it will be hard to make 'a list from the tour'... xo, math+

Thanks for your help. One I was particularly interested in that was played at the Apollo ended with a line like 'It's just not like it used to be' or 'Things aint what they used to be' something like that. I thought that's where the inspiriation for the line in Still Ill might have come from.

Anyone know what that one was?

Last night at the Opera House, there was 'Pub With No Beer' by Slim Dusty and also that song about things not being as they used to be which is mentioned above.

Ive been to 4 shows on this tour now and not yet heard the Boyfriends I Love You or the Ramones Why Is It Always This Way, so it definitely does change from venue to venue

songs before the gigs

Can anyone help with this intro song from this tour ?....

It's got a woman singing "i love you" in it....sounds very 60s !

Would love to know what it is / get a copy. Thanks!

At the Oxford gig Pills by the New York Dolls and I who have nothing by Petula Clark got an airing.

Hi Stanley, you are my hero for the day!. Thanks SO much for confirming that!.
The song is indeed 'I (who have nothing)' performed by Petula Clark!.

I did a bit of checking on this and it's a Lieber & Stoller song, and has been covered by lots of people including Ben E. King, Shirley Bassey, and Tom Jones!.

I tried getting Petula's version on Itunes & they had every version but!.

It's on the following CDs though:
