Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, mums and dads, lads and lasses,

I, The Cat, heartily invite you all to vote for The Great Jock 'n' Roll Album. Following the success of our Singles poll, which featured in the national press, we have taken the not entirely unnatural step of running an Album poll. A number of luminaries from the world of Jock 'n' Roll have already voted (i.e Eddi Redaer) and we ask you to join them.

The rules, like some of the Del Amitri fans, are simple:

1. Choose your Top 10 Favourite Scottish Albums (only one person artist unless they've gone solo e.g Edwyn Collins/Orange Juice etc)
2. Nominate 1 Worst Scottish Album (please don't say "Anything by...")
3. Your name and where you're from
4. Where you heard about the site/poll
5. Feel free to add comments on your choices and you could be one of our Featured Voters.

And before anyone shouts SPAM! we're a non-profit making, labour of love which won't promise you bigger boobs or guaranteed sex , unless you really want it!

P.S. And if anyone doubt my Smiths credentials, I saw them 12 times, including all 7 dates on the Scottish tour of September 1985 and I was also at their last gig. Greatest band in the world EVER!!! Bar none.
