We won't be continuing as opening band for the Morrissey tour. Thanks to all who showed up early and gave us such life-sustaining enthusiasm. Thanks to Morrissey for his years of support and generosity. There are lots of plans and lots of possibilities and we can't wait to tear into them.

Earlier, Kristeen tweeted that she did not have a virus in regards to the previous article has been since updated which had stated "According to the show’s promoters, Morrissey, the touring crew and opener Kristeen Young have come down with a virus."

It's tenuous but if there was a jab at KY in singing TQID I'd say it's in the lyric:

she said: "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said: "that's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

But in order for this to work you have to buy my theory that I think sometimes Morrissey feels the other people on his stage represent him in a weird way. When the band wears shirts they're speaking for him, when the opening act gets boo'd and ignored, it's a part of him that feels ignored. So this lyric changes direction of tense, but they're both saying "she cannot sing and you should hear her play piano." which is ironic because she can sing, but she obviously can't since she's an industry flop.

It's hard to wrap your mind around unless you're an alien, but it makes sense in my brain.
