may I point on the subject fat women

' some girls are bigger than others' ' your the one for me fatty'

Good to read that after Linder's little stroke, she healed well and got on.

'and they say he's mentall' ... Miserable Lie and Jeanne could be also written with Linder in mind though they are soulmates for life...

Dont forget the main point here. Linder is one of the most talented
artists and performers and artist and performers that England, Ireland
and the World has seen since 1922.

Dont forget that !

Ms. Sterling is a talented artist? I enjoy your irony. Everything Ms. Sterling has depicted in her work was seen in art history at least twenty years before her, done in a more original and talented way. Ms. Sterling seems to have her charms, maybe she is even creative, but she is NO ARTIST.

Or from 'William, It Was Really Nothing': "How can you stay, with a FAT GIRL who'll say..." etc
Let's face it. Whatever the reason, Morrissey REALLY hates chunky chicks.

Linder isn't the only one Lady GaGa stole ideas from. Lady GaGa stole KY's bubble dress too.

Lady Gaga tends to steal from successful artists. Besides that, if you look at Lady Gaga over the past few years she has put together thousands of looks. I'm sure some of them coincidentally resembled other things people had already done but I don't think anyone steals from Kristeen Young.

No one steals from KY, because apart from Morrissey fans no one has ever heard of her.

I always thought that was (at least mostly) about breasts. The extra verse added live suggests as much.

could be right though last verse?

on the shopfloor
this/a calender
as obvious as snow
as if we didn't know

Had cleopatra big boobs:)

' and the say he's mentall' ... about putting down Joyce and Rourke, this is one where you can hear Joyce and Rourke were really
a ace rythm team, and definaterly 2 of the 4 Smiths, don't mention the courtcase please, just listen to the Smiths songs.

I've got a live version where he sings:

on the shopfloor
there's a calander
they're pointing out to you
something you never knew

which is of course wordplay around breasts/sexualtity so I've always considered the song in the sexual sense, rather than it being about waist size.

Do you mean the live version who are on the Dutch ' Headmaster's Ritual,' there were a few live tracks on, also on other Smiths singles, live versions

Stretch out and wait
meat is murder
some girls are bigger than others
Shakespeares sister
[oxford 85, if me memory is welll, can check but it's about the extra verse]

maybe as a Dutchman I misheard the lyrics of 'some girls are bigger than others'
these verse are indeed more about the subject 'breasts' than fat'

greetings

' and they say he's mentall' ... these breast are made for walking...;)
