I heard that the original album title for Maladjusted was Ambitious Outsiders. Someone here can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I have this right.Agreed. But that should’ve been the album cover. Indeed, at the time I felt Alma Matters should’ve been the album title (I’m sure I read soon after the release that it was, actually, the provisional title for the LP).
But now, plain old Maladjusted seems perfect.
Absolutely terrifying! It was a very dark one, nuns , priests, you get the picture,
I agree Alma Matters cover is superb, Satan cover is actually great too but felt Roy's Keen cover was drab and would have preferred Moz on the cover as opposed to the daft picture they used. I thought reissue cover was a lovely pic of Moz by the way.I never had a problem with the original sleeve. I guess the pose was a bit weird but I like the green and silver treatment. The sleeves for the singles were some of the best he's ever done. The Alma Matters sleeve is in my top five for its artwork.
Erik, my dear friend. They won't see the light of day. Try to live with it (like I do).So as far as we know, there are only 2 songs in the can from the maladjusted sessions?
‘Kit’ and ‘I Know Who I Love’ ??

See: cantankerous.Oh.. the “Maladjusted” era, this was quite an polarizing album to fans & critics, it’s definitely doesn’t age well but not Moz’s absolute worst

That’s fine, but not the lovely Maladjusted... please. Let’s keep something holy here.Dear, I’m allowed to have an opinion. I’m not gonna kiss his ass and say ever album Moz has released are good

If you compared it to Southpaw, would you say Maladjusted was good ?
Well... southpaw is actually good to me ?
At this stage I’ve learnt to take anything positive I can get from you. So yes, I’m presently praising The Lord.@Hovis Lesley I did not know their was an 2009 remastered with new tracks and a better tracklisting
It flows MUCH better tbh where it’s actually done from “meh” to “ok” for me, does that satisfy you?
I used to think the tracklisting of the re-issue was better, too.@Hovis Lesley I did not know their was an 2009 remastered with new tracks and a better tracklisting

By now I've realised that I don't like some of the added b-sides as much as I used to think and I prefer the original release.
Also, I can't accept the fact that both Papa Jack and Roy's Keen were practically erased from existence, the latter being one of my favourites from the original release.
I've got a weird relationship with Malasjusted. I don't like it that much as an album, it's inconsistent and the track order is a mess, but for some reason I listen to it a lot. It has some songs that are almost addictive to me (namely Maladjusted, Trouble Loves Me, Ammunition, Wide To Receive and Roy's Keen).
