I am still perplexed as to why Mozza as yet has not signed for a label. The man is brilliant, and his use and manipulation of the English language is second to none. There are massive follwings in the States of my Demi-God. It seems the States( and let's face it what a state it's in, ha ha ha. Still No National Health Service, because the Corprates own the Government)seem to appreciate good music when they hear it. Unfortunatley, we are in the minority in Britain, and from where I'im sitting Rusholme is only an hours drive down the M53(Freeway to you lot over there). I love Morrissey, yet record lables um and ahh - why. He sells. He is a highly valued comodity. Could it be record labels want to fleece him, in their want for greed. Could be? I love you all

I think something fishy is going on with regard to that whole thing. Morrissey can probably get a decent contract in a second. He's either asking for way too much, or...maybe he's just not interested in signing? Who knows?!

Do you knot know that Moz is scheduled to appear on NBC's Friends, ER and Frasier (so far confirmed) as well as lend his hand on Strangeways film with Matt Damon and Dolph Lundgren as Agent Fred Girraffe?

Boz is busy appearing on CBS' Jag and lending a hand on Fox's Greatest Police Chases.

Gaz is touring around the country with Adrian Belew and performing with Sabastian Bach on Broadway's Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde.

A-Dawg is part of the New Men at Work Lineup riding the wave from the new-found popularity of Sydney 2000 American-lympics.

Spicklez is with U2 as their tour drummer because Larry Mullen Jr. is in the hospital for getting his penis stuck in a Prell shampoo bottle.

Now stop asking stupid questions swallowgoya and bend over and hide fatneck!

ive heard horror stories about your substandard national health care system and the huge tax burden to go with it. i have excellent health care in the U.S. because i have a steady job. im a regular middle economic class kinda guy. i, for one, am glad to live in the greatest country in the world! sorry about your fate of living in europe!

Yeah, but what about the people who aren't middle class? Should they just continue to be screwed without coverage?

they then have the incentive to get a steady job and work hard. as the moz himself said about the english "england is mine, it owes me a living" in the U.S. we have to work to support ourselves and get healthcare.

It's harder than that to get a steady job that pays enough for good healthcare.
 
thanks anyway, but i liked it better the way i wrote it!

i have a choice of two healthcare plans where i work; full coverage with a deductable, or an hmo with a low co-payment. i chose the full coverage and in the times ive needed to use it i have been extremely satisfied!

from what ive seen in socialist programs in countries all around the world people are better off working hard, using their money as they see fit as opposed to giving it to the government where there is waste, corruption, and incompetence. i would rather trust myself to make decisions about my healthcare than someone in a government agency!

Yes, I have to work hard! I found a few years ago that my first(and second) choice of professions didn't give me the security that I needed, so I went to "plan C" and went to school, got the education to succeed, and went out and found an occupation that suited my needs. I have to work very hard and follow my bosses directions, but it's worth it to me. My benefits(healthcare, dentist, and eyecare) are all part of my contract. I look at them as a nontaxable portion of my income.

Bless you, good boy! Keep working hard, keep the world turning, keep kissing society's ass - and screw those who aspire to more than a 9 to 5 living, they don't even deserve a decent health care....

You are the exception to the rule. Most people don't have it so well and that is the point. Granted, some people are not going to work hard even if these goals are within their grasp but most are not as fortunate as yourself.

America spends more on healthcare due to Medicare, which concerns only a few people, than the UK does per person on the NHS, which is for everyone.

when i was younger i didn't care if i had health care. after i hit 25 it became more important to me so i found work that fit my needs/desires. i understand what you're saying but i don't think entitlements are the answer. when everything is handed to you - you don't appreciate what it really means. when you have to work to get yourself to a more comfortable existence, you appreciate the healthcare and other benefits. i think i am better off because i worked for what i have. i have to be consistant to keep my job and benefits/etc. that helps me keep my life in order. im not wealthy by any means! i drive a 13 year old car and wear simple inexpensive clothes. my priorities are to do work i enjoy(at least most of the time) and provide for my family. i have reached those goals by hard work and i don't regret any of it!

i don't know the figures but if that is true the quality of care and choices of health care in the U.S. could be a factor.

You must also take into account that many poor people who may not be able to afford health insurance may allow their ailments to flare up and not go for treatment when it can be nipped in the bud, but rather wait until the only cure will be far more expensive treatment.
