Morrissey will fly to NY straight after NPC?

Holy Hell!

Good luck to you.

Thanks Kewps. David Lynch did a signing there and the place was so mobbed that they had to block the escalators and eventually lock the doors. I predict a similar scene should this, in fact, be true.

Holy Hell!

If you're planning on going Anaes, I am glad for Morrissey. It's not everyday one gets to meet such a charming and intelligent person as yourself. :) Lucky him. He doesn't deserve you, really I even think he should buy you something in return... ;)

Say hi to Len Riggio for me!

Do you think it would be impolite to ask why Jake was cut out of the US edition?

Also - how many days in advance do you think it would be worth queuing to make sure you get into the signing? I know a lot of people got turned away at Sweden. Any advice?

"Your receipt for book = ticket! " - what does that mean ??

Morrissey will fly to NY straight after NPC?

That sounds exhausting.
Chances are he'll be tired and confused and will sign the books "Johnny Marr".

(I don't think Morrissey ever flies "straight" btw. :/ But as someone paying attention -unlike us- previously noticed, he does "straight" signings now. Oh: hilarious.)

You have to buy a copy at the Union Square Barnes & Noble.

Yeah but are you willing to stand in the snow to do that?

Re: Morrissey booksigning in New York Thursday 12th December, 7pm

you have to buy a copy at a Barnes and Noble (in store not online) and then show the receipt to one of the workers in charge of the signing in order to get an autograph..they will check..I've gone to a signing before

if you want a workaround..buy a copy there, get yours sound..then return the unsigned book at a store near you the next day..

I have no idea how the line-up is gonna work..When I met Ray Davies there, noone was able to sit down for the synposium that didn't start till 6:00..

Morrissey is a brilliant artist, yet I find it sad that one has to pay to meet him. Can't a fan have a chance to just say hello, you changed my life, and thank you, without the exchange of money..:(

Morrissey to cash wrap, please? Morrissey to cash wrap? :sweet:

It's a book-signing! not a "pay to meet"-event. To have your copy signed you obviously need to buy it first.

Does anyone want to hear the announcement they'll make over the PA? :o
