morrissey frink thread!

Hmm...I'll just name it "The Bed Took Fire", I actually only noticed a few months ago that it is the same track. I don't understand a name change of the same song

You might need to call it At Amber, in much the same way that the album is Viva Hate, although original title was Education In Reverse.

this is a scan from a great photobook, huge size distributed by "stern" of david bailey,
a swinging sixties photographer, who also shot the kray twins

safetyhaven pointed the book out to me - thanks !
there is one another pic of david bailey in comtesse`s archive of that session
where he is smiling heavenwards:
http://motorcycleaupairboy.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=748&mode=search
so the following pic is from the same session, but unpublished
beside that stern book as far as i know.
after i posted it elsewhere joe frady-the mozarchive-master :thumb:
informed me he has posted a version of this pic last year in a smaller version.
i wasnt aware of it.
i dont want to resize it as the bigness in the orginal i want to reproduce.
2nd one is the biggest(4 diff sizes)
the pic doesnt fit in whole in the scanner

i try to look for diff version (diff pic quality)
of the 2nd one the next weeks if i have time but
i think this is the best i can do

And ROSARY is ON IT! Dayuuuum. I've missed pining over that face while trapped in weddingland for the last week or so. Wonderful selection to return to.

Thankyou Cheeseblock, :thumb:

(in fact im not even sure where it is! eek!)

"Morrissey has no need of sex with people so long as he continues to have it with his audience. Each stage performance is so obviously a sexual release -- one of the things which makes his concerts so memorable and so sublimely, indecently unprofessional. If the yelps and yowls and the desperate, ecstatic falsettos on tracks such as "This Charming Man," "Barbarism Begins at Home" or "Maladjusted" hint powerfully at an orgasmic release, onstage they turn into a form of musical pole dancing -- a protruding, curling fleshy tongue, a salacious smile, a sadistic whipping of his mike cable, a coquettish swing of those magnificently inhibited hips, a tempting spasm of his shiftless body, a golden sparkly shirt torn from his back and flung into an audience which, as one, pounces on it and renders it to the tiniest, dampest, most fragrant fragments, while the curious love-object himself lies on the stage writhing around in ecstasy-agony or on his back, legs akimbo airborne or draped over a monitor in an obliging gesture towards his audience. A Morrissey gig is an extraordinary, epic, religious prick-tease. " - Salon.com, 2004 http://www.salon.com/entertainment/music/feature/2004/04/30/morrissey

 I miss this guy.

I don't... I... I don't know what to do. I can't breathe.

being a wizened old frinker, i'd say embrace it, go with the not breathing and just delight in the pic for as long as it takes you to learn to breathe again,
