Roy's Keen TOTP and other....

I don't know if anyone feels the same but everytime I see this performance of Roy's keen on TOTP and the new year party on channel 5 when I look at Morrissey's performance he seems to looks deeply depressed. He seems to be pretty dead in the eyes and just really lacklustre?! I suppose it may be all about this break up business but I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same. When I listen to that album, especially trouble loves me and satan rejected my soul I think there is deep sadness in his voice.
Just my opinion.

I concur.

On the TOTP performance he looks in great shape and as if he's just come back from holiday or something, and with his dance moves etc. seems to be having a great time!

On the new year performance, well he was miming for a start (his choice?), perhaps because he wasn't in the correct state of mind to sing live, I don't know. But yes, he does look very sad, ill even. Maybe it's just that short haircut? Maybe he knew he wasn't going to get his record deal renewed, and what with the aftermath of the court case and the rumoured end of his rumoured relationship with Jake, things were maybe getting on top of him.

Maladjusted is a very underrated album in my opnion, and the sessions for it spawned some of his finest work to date. "Lost" and "Now I Am A Was" are two excellent songs.

Well I must agree he does look in great shape on TOTP, well he always looks beautiful to me but something just doesn't look right.

When i read it i thoguht it said 9 PM. I was at college then so i would have missed it anyway.
I've seen it on Youtube now.
