I'm searching "HOTYF" 7" promo (RDJ6383) if anybody has a mint copy. Will buy or trade if we come to a mutually acceptable agreement.

I was told that they accidentally made half as many of the Hold On To Your Friends promo 7"s as they had intended. I had a collector swear that they did not exist, even though I told her I had one.

Unfortunately it's out of print.

I remember seeing a copy in one of my local record shops, but during the 90s the building was demolished and that particular shop no longer exist. :(

I located a copy of The Smiths Best

on yahoo japan.

It's currently at 5500 yen (33 euro) with 2 days left. (All thanks to google translate). But I have no idea on how to bid as obviously its all in japanese.

Thanks for this, I'd seen it earlier when my email updates came through. I had the same suspicions, new member, zero feedback, half way round the world...

But, currently no bidders...might be worth a cheeky low bid :)
