Most expensive TWWL cassette

Interesting point you make ordinaryboy86. I never thought about manufactured unofficial and homemade unofficial. One thing is for sure in all my years of collecting I have never seen anything unofficial like these homemade Morrissey cassette tapes sell for as low as $12 each. Not saying I don’t believe you, I’m just saying that a low price as $12 each is probably not worth no ones time homemaking them.

It’s true, I got about 7 or 8 for $100

Swords x 2
World peace x 2
Earl’s Court
Ringleader
Years of refusal

But now even I’m thinking 12 quid is too much. They’re not worth anything imo.

...also the scene has changed pretty quickly with these cassettes and the novelty has massively worn off. The WPINOB that was first listed on here, sold by brokenfriend, went for over £100 on eBay. And just last week his Earls Court & Refusal tapes barely made 30 quid each.

I did notice that both Earls Court and Swords didn’t sell for much recently on eBay and now there’s two Swords listed on eBay by brokenfriend. it’s crazy how sometimes people get top bids on eBay and then down the line they can’t even get half of what they originally sold on eBay.

Do you know If brokenfriend is the brain behind these homemade over priced cassette tapes? Just asking out of curiosity.

Ordinaryboy86 I agree with you $12 is about the maximum you should pay for these Indonesian homemade cassettes. It's nice to have some in your collection. Saying this, homemade cassettes are of all times! :thumb:

Wow that’s class. What country’s that from? Can I share it on my smiths fb Page, I doubt anyone’s ever seen this cassette before.

No problem! I bought it years ago from a Japanese seller. According to the inside of the box it is made in England but I guess it is made in Japan.

£574,523,534.12

Any guesses where this could be from?
