Does "I don't owe you anything" make you shudder from revulsion?
I happen to like it, but his Mozness rejects it (along with a couple of others)in the question session on the true-to-you net.
I seem to remember he once said elsewhere that he felt sick about "Death at one's elbow"...has he ever anywhere mentioned other songs of his that he would rather not have made?
There's a question for a poll (if it's not already been there):
which song by Morrissey is his most embarrassing yet?

I read one interview where he said he didn't like What Difference Does it make because he thought the lyrics were trite, meaningless and a series of cliches.

For me it has to be "Get Off The Stage" and "The Harsh Truth Of The Camerss Eye".

The only blemish on The Smiths career for me was their cover of Twinkle's "Golden Lights".

I have no problem at all with "Death At One's Elbow" and I'm mystified that this keeps appearing in lists of the worst Smiths songs.
