It is surprising someone that vain could let himself get so fat. A family member once remarked, "it's almost cool, because he just doesn't give a damn", but personally, I think it's a terrible advertisement for vegetarianism, a seemingly treasured cause.

Anyone else notice Mozzer’s weight gain?
Looks like he’s put on 15lbs

Aha! That'll explain why some of the audience were chanting You're The One For Me, Fatty! And I thought they were calling for the song. I'm so naïve.

I just read the first few lines of your post and suddenly came over all tired. I can't think why as it was a scintillating read, as always.

"Crankfraud...blah...blah...meat...cheese...blah...blah...flop...unsold tickets...blah...blah" .

Oops it's happened again, must go for a lie down. Night all.

...and Brummie, I love you...

Sleep is the brother of Death

..there was a final video before Moz and company came on stage, the one of that guy ringing the bell saying “School is about to start!”By the way, can anyone tell me what the source is for that particular clip? I’ve searched here and Youtube and couldn’t find the answer. Thanks

.

Have you tried YouPorn?

He actually said "We're just oiling up now..."

Just before Suedehead he sings a cappella "I think I love you, what am I so afraid of, something I'm not sure of, I don't know the lyrics."

Good grief! I know he's desperate for media attention but an onstage orgy of himself with all the band? I guess the video for Jacky was warning us......

Whoever is writing this is putting on a really good show this tour. Every concert night they deliver one in the same exact style and length, always anonymous, always specifically reflective, always positive, usually waiting about four or five posts. It’s very entertaining.

Just like Putin & Soros, Morrissey has an army of paid Troll-Bots. He doesn't understand any of it but his record company/PR are really desperate to undo Spaceygate.....

You're exactly right. This is not a "troll" comment - it's the truth. He needs to exercise and back up his healthy non meat talk

In the after party I ran into David Johansson from New York Dolls, Britt Daniel from Spoon and the kid from the cover of the new album. While Morrissey never comes to the parties, Boz was the only band member who showed.

His voice was spot on tonight.

Where was the after party?

The fat, cheese-fed ponce in a wool cardigan, surrounded by lackeys in “Animal Rights Militia” t-shirts is quite fitting.

By far, the worst thing that's happened in Morrissey's career. Plays everything too heavy handed and makes you think "what the F is he doing?" when you see him play live. I won't even comment about all the "guitar faces" and over selling it he does.

I was at MSG pretty much in direct line in front of docinwinchester based on their photos, but two people away from the stage. Despite being utterly distracted by the chick in front of me who videoed herself singing all the Morrissey songs to herself and not looking at him at all, it was a decent crowd but for one a$$hole behind us who kept yelling "take off your top" to Morrissey, which wasn't funny the first time and less so the 12th time. Morrissey replied to him something along the lines of be patient, but don't hold your breath because it's not written in stone. And indeed he did not take off his top. I hate hecklers, and this guy served no purpose.

I thought Morrissey was in fine form and the band sounds great, especially on the new tunes. I think Moz was sick in D.C. (I was also there) and was backing off some of the higher notes and was wiping his nose and coughing a bit. He seemed improved in NYC.

As a newly converted vegetarian (almost 4 years) I'd remind whomever said it up-thread that being vegetarian does not mean being thin. It doesn't happen that way. You don't eat vegetables all the time and in fact some of the protein sources to replace meats are higher in calories and fat than if you just ate chicken or fish and then there is the misguided tendency to eat more carbs to fill the void. A lot of non-vegetarians and vegans don't know that. I went up in weight initially until I figured it all out.

Onwards Boston.
