Recoil is set to release an album in the Spring of 2010 entitled 'Selected'. This release features a selection of classic Recoil tracks chosen by Alan Wilder who says: "The collection is made up of my personal favourites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience."

So far, the 'Selected' formats have been confirmed as a single CD version as well as a double pack CD. The double CD will feature a second disc including many new remixes and alternative versions, again chosen and edited together by Alan and Paul Kendall.

The Recoil project was born in 1986 as a two-track experimental EP. The most significant work has evolved since 1996 with the releases of the 'Unsound Methods', 'Liquid' and 'subHuman' albums. Over the course of the last 10 years Alan has been ably accompanied by Paul Kendall who brings his idiosyncratic view to the whole procedure. He has also been fortunate enough to cement working relationships with many writers, vocalists and musicians, most of whom appear on this new release.

In support of the 'Selected' album, a Recoil Events tour will take place across Europe and in the US. Dates will be announced shortly and you can expect some interesting developments as each city is confirmed.
