There is actually a joint interview this month in Q with Ian Brown and Johnny Marr at the Q awards..Didn't know they were mates..

I just checked on the Q site and it mentions Jonny Marr interview but not ian Brown, which i unusual because his name alone would guarentee umpteen sales. I'll have a look tomorrow.

The interview is on page 82-83 of the December 2007 issue with Kylie on the front..Only a couple of paragraphs..Didn't know they've been mates since 1979! Johnny marr must have foudn the fountian of youth because the man looks like he's still 25.

I imagine all the Roses were friends with most of the Smiths, dunno bout Moz. Anywho, theres a pic of the Smiths, from the Paul S. sessions in "83 with Andy rocking a brown heavy jacket of sorts, turns out that jacket was was I think Renis moms jacket or one of their "mams". Read that somewhere a few weeks back.

Oh but, to comment on the lad with the fantastic guitar skills, WOW, that f***er can jam!!! Wish he was out here in LA.
