Just thought I'd let you know that our central London HDIF in July happens to coincide with Morrissey's Troxy show, so if you're looking for somewhere to go dancing afterwards, there's always us. We won't be doing a Morrissey special this time - just our usual mix of indie pop, northern soul, motown, girl groups and so on, which always includes plenty of Smiths, B&S, and so on.

There's more info here:

:)

And here's the slightly more indepth blurb:

We're very pleased to say that this Saturday's HDIF sees the welcome return of Jyoti Mishra of White Town fame. Jyoti, who scored a UK Number One back in 1997 with the magnificent "Your Woman", will be DJ-ing from 10.30pm-midnight.

Indie song of the week: "What A Way To Die" by the Shop Assistants. Rip-roaring cover of a song by Suzi Quatro's pre-fame garage rock band.
Soul song of the week: "Buttered Popcorn" by The Primettes. Before they were the Supremes, Florence, Mary, Diana and Betty shimmy-ed their way through this food-as-sex classic.

Any requests? What would you like to hear on Saturday night?

Hope to see you on Saturday!
