Absolutely not. It's not going to score him points with anyone at this stage. There's no meaningful discussion to be had about any serious topic within this toxic climate, which has managed to appropriate every social issue to serve as a test that assesses ideological conformity to the 'party line'. If Morrissey were to 'take the knee', the backlash would be worse than if he were to keep his mouth shut and ride the whole thing out. Most people engaging in these pantomimes, who are most vociferous about their supposed support of BLM, are arguably taking part of a 'purity spiral':
