with big apols for the multiple typos in this poll!
it seems to make virtually no sense at all to keep Brown on. pretty much any other senior Labour MP would do considerably better. Labour would enjoy at least a long-term 5% increase in the polls, and with someone like Harman, considerably more.
presumably the feeling is that, although anyone would be better than Brown, no-one is good enough to secure an election win so, on this basis, there is no real point in giving him the boot?
