Presumably it's the same record that was release last year. Just that it was only released in the uk. Right?

Record Store Day, April 18, 2009

I felt like this info was lost in the marketplace and general discussion forums.
Just a reminder, tomorrow's the day. Support your local record shop!

Just a record store awareness day, meant for you to support the small independent music retailer that stocks vinyl (and cds).

But you know that this is the new Headmaster 7"... not the original 7", right?
yeah, i figured i'd get it anyway. i dont have the original or the singles box set yet.
plus it was nice going into a record shop and picking up a smiths 7" as if it was a new release:)

Really, they didn't unearth a stash of 24 year old 7"s that are worth over $400 each and distribute them amongst the record stores in the US for $6?

f***ers. I went to two different shops today looking for it. The first one didn't know what I was talking about, and the second one said that their system showed that there was still 1 copy in the store, but nobody could find it. I accosted every customer who was carrying around vinyl, to no avail. :( I did leave with some freebies, though, like a bizarre Lost Highway sampler that has "Skull". Anyone wanna buy one? I have 3 extras.

Nope, I'm in DC, but I was in Baltimore today. I went to Sound Garden and some weird urban music shop downtown.

If you find one up there, I'm definitely interested. Thanks!

I have 2 extras(Smiths), along w/a Sonic Youth/Beck single...if anyone's interested, LMK? Ill trade one for someone's New Order "Temptation" 7 Inch?

Was/is this single included in the 7" singles box from months back? i didn't really look through my box(my fault I know). I opened it to make sure it was complete, and stuffed it away in my drawer, where it has remained UNTOUCHED.
